2013-14 SEASON INFO:
Central Jersey Volleyball Academy is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. Started in 2004, our goal is to provide young athletes an opportunity to participate in competitive volleyball, while instilling values of good sportsmanship, cooperation, self-discipline and confidence. CJVA is a member in good standing of the Garden Empire Volleyball Region.
TEAMS: Team placement is based on try-out results as well as commitment and the needs of the athlete. Our goal is to assign players to teams where they will have the best chance of success, while making a significant contribution to the success of the team.
Teams are made up of 9-10 players; practice 2 times per week and compete in six 1-day tournaments. Qualifiers may be added to a team’s schedule at an additional cost. Club fees for 15U-18U are $1,350.00 per player. The boys season runs from September thru the end of February, ending just before boys school try-outs.
MEMBERSHIP FEE: includes practices, open gym, tournament fees, uniforms, coach’s salary & travel expenses, gym rentals, equipment and insurance. Fee does not include players travel or accommodations.
ADDITIONAL FEES: Players must be USAV members in order to participate. Register for USAV at www.geva.org. Additional costs for teams participating in additional Qualifiers sill be split between the number of players on the team and will include Coach’s stipend for travel/hotel expenses and tournament fee.
